Stephen McCoy from Write Brain Studios joins us to share how he used his active addiction as an outlet to incorporate a work of art in the film industry. A 29-year-old young man who has struggled with his own battles of addiction and had the opportunity to capture a good portion of drug use and being homeless on the streets of Boston. This resulted in getting an offer to work with Write Brain Studios and continuing the journey of one of his dreams to be a filmmaker which resulted in the production of Nightcrawlers. Stephen gets vulnerable and shares while it hasn’t been easy to stay off dope, he has continues to fight through whatever battles he has faced no matter what.
